What this covers

SecureShellx is a dashboard for connecting to and managing your servers. This policy explains the personal information and server credentials we collect, why we collect them, and how we store them.

Information we collect

We collect only what the product needs to sign you in and reach the servers you add:

• Email address. You enter it to sign in. We use it to send your sign-in code and to identify your account.
• Server credentials. When you add a server, we collect the connection details you provide. That includes the host, port, username, password, and SSH key or other secret needed to open the session.
• Messages you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email, and message so we can reply.

How we store it

Your email and server credentials are saved on our servers in encrypted form. They are encrypted before they are stored and stay encrypted at rest. We keep them so you can sign in again and reconnect to your servers without entering the same details every time.

We do not sell your email or server credentials. We do not use them for advertising.

How we use it

• To create your account and send the sign-in code to your email.
• To connect the dashboard, terminal, and file browser to the servers you configure.
• To keep those connections available the next time you open SecureShellx.
• To answer questions you send through the contact form.

Server credentials are used only to operate SecureShellx for the account that provided them.

Who can access it

Access to stored email addresses and server credentials is limited to operating the service. We do not share them with advertisers or data brokers. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or if it is necessary to investigate abuse of the service.

How long we keep it

We keep your email and encrypted server credentials while your account is active, so your servers stay connected. If you delete a server from the dashboard, we delete the credentials stored for that connection. If you ask us to close your account, we delete the email and server credentials tied to it.

Contact messages are kept only as long as we need them to respond and to keep a record of the conversation.

Your choices

You can remove a server connection inside the dashboard. You can also email us to access, correct, or delete the email and server credentials we store for you. We will delete the encrypted copies from our servers when the account or connection is removed.
